Very positive experience. Walked in without an appointment. Same day service. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had been taking my Hyundai to dealer for service for years. Unfortunately, their service recently went down quickly. They switched to AI answering service and text communication. Can't hardly talk to a real person. After having my vehicle in the shop for 8 days basically told me they put the wrong battery in 1 1/2 years ago and it was incompatible with the vehicle electronics. They didn't replace the batteryand took no ownership of the problem. At John Nolan they replaced the battery the same day. It's working much better now. So refreshing to deal with real people who provide prompt and friendly service.

I am not one to leave negative reviews, but this was an exceptionally awful experience. I had a small repair that came up on a new vehicle inspection for a Carvana vehicle. John Nolan was one of the local shops under Carvana's warranty (SilverRock) that was open on Saturdays so I decided to go there. I called, explained the issue, and made an appointment. I drove to the shop that Saturday, and was told that my repair could not be done on Saturdays as they didn't have the right crew on staff, they did not have the part I needed, and it was actually multi-hour repair that required a dropoff! This never came up on my original call. Oh well, mistakes happen. I scheduled a dropoff for the next week and adjusted my work schedule accordingly. The day before the repair, I called to confirm that everything was still good. They said yes, I should drop off the car that night and I would get the car back the following day. Great! I call the next afternoon, and am told that they haven't even started on the repair and that they could not quote when it would be done (even though they had already done so twice incorrectly). It might be the next day. They told me I would have to call back myself

My church took an out of town trip to the Cincinnati area. The brake lines malfunctioned and the front breaks/wheels started smoking. This garage was the only one willing to go above and beyond, stay open after hours to get the bus fixed, and get us back to Louisville safely. No extra charges, just good professional work! Matt the mechanic, called a couple days later to check on us. He was knowledgeable about the issue and explain what he was doing, and what would still need to be done in the future. This is long but worth a read before moving forward with this business. I’m a recent graduate from Purdue and I just moved to Cincinnati. Money is tight, and I normally do my own car work back home in my dad’s garage, but I don’t have my tools here yet so I brought my car in for a diagnosis. They told me the issue was likely my engine mounts and gave me a quote. I had already installed aftermarket mounts myself before, so I'm familiar with this service. The shop initially quoted $3,600, claiming 20.5 hours of labor for engine mount replacement. Excuse my French, but that’s BS. Anyone who’s done mounts (or any decent mechanic) knows that labor time is wildly inflated. When I questioned how that labor time made sense, they got awkward and dropped it down to $1,100. I also asked about two new tires because mine were cupped. They offered a “buy one get one free” deal, but then quoted one tire at $252, which felt misleading. It gets worse. While my car was there my glove box/console damper hinge was damaged, and it no longer opens/closes correctly. They never mentioned this or fixed it. And somehow a razor blade ended up in the sidewall of my tire while it was in their shop. They sai
